City Centre

Where better to experience the diversity of Bristol than from slap bang in the centre of all the action? Whatever you’re into, it’s right on your doorstep; from the vibrant bars and restaurants of the Harbourside, to the art and culture of Stokes Croft, and live music venues around every corner plus some great shops – living in Bristol City Centre can be whatever you want it to be.

Clifton

Clifton sits up the hill from the city centre, just a short distance from campus, plus the bars, restaurants and shops of buzzing Whiteladies Road and The Triangle. Clifton Village is the sparkling jewel in the crown of the area, packed with quirky shops, eateries and bars, with a distinct and laid back vibe all of its own.

Kingsdown

Kingsdown is located between St Michael’s Hill – which houses St Michael’s Hospital, a teaching faculty with close links to Bristol Uni – and Gloucester Road, a hub of culturally diverse, independent shops, bars and restaurants. Plus, with a short walk to the city’s shopping hotspots, it’s easy to see why Kingsdown is a favourite amongst students.

Cotham

Within easy reach of both Whiteladies Road and Gloucester Road, with all the bars and restaurants they have to offer, Cotham has long been a favourite for students in Bristol. A short walk to campus, with good transport links to the rest of the city, makes this a great area to balance work and play.

Cliftonwood

The brightly painted terraced houses of Cliftonwood often form the picture postcard view of Bristol. It’s just down the hill from quaint Clifton Village, and a short walk or bus ride from the city centre, and of course Bristol Uni. The Avon Gorge is a stone’s throw away too, where cyclists, runners and walkers can track the meandering River Avon which runs under the world famous Clifton Suspension Bridge.

Redland

Nestled alongside Whiteladies Road, which is packed with bars, restaurants and shops, and a short distance from the majority of Bristol Uni’s faculties, Redland is a great choice for students who want to live close to the action, but not smack bang in the centre of it. Good transport links including Redland Rail Station connects the area to everything Bristol has to offer.
